You don't need to feel desperate any longer. You CAN feel good about yourself and ENJOY eating!
I have learned that quick-fix diets don't work. If you work to change your eating behaviors you can acheive a healthy size and weight and feel sexy again!
Health is not a destination, it is a journey. Health is not a number, it is a lifestyle. It can not be found in a set of rigid rules and specific guidelines. Health is flexible. In fact, too often health is equated with weight loss or a certain number on the scale. I believe health is acheived through tuning into your body and mind and listening to internal signals. It means eating when you are hungry, but stopping when you are satified. It means choosing foods because they make you feel good and help your body to function properly. It means moving your body, because it brightens your day and helps relieve stress. It means loving or at least accepting the body shape and size you have today. Believe it or not, your body has all the tools it needs to be the healthiest body it can be. But so often we do not trust our internal signals. Total health can not be acheived through the rigid rules found in various restrictive diets. While diets may give you a slimmer figure temporarily, in the long run they cause increases in heart disease and overall mortality and are nearly impossible to maintain. True holistic health encompasses feeding the body AND satisfying the mind.
